Tough power couple
Tomorrow I am playing my 100th show. The first time I ever pulled an acoustic guitar on stage was at The Loft (RIP), where I did a 10 minute set that was 99% covers. Doing this over 4 years has taken me to amazing places, helped me meet amazing people, and has brought me a lot of happiness.
There’s so many cool people who I have met or who have helped me since I started, and I would need another post just to cover the basics. But I’ve met so many wonderful amazing people through playing shows, and I can’t wait to meet more.
It would mean so much to see a bunch of people at my 100th show. It’s a really great lineup. There’s Bofolk Ballico, a man who has inspired and motivated me from day one, and Jack Livingston who is one of the great people I’ve met by travelling to other cities and playing, as well as Boots Porter and Corey Price, two amazing musicians I have met by playing around Newcastle.
The list of all the shows I’ve played is in the read more. I’m really proud of this list, so if you’ve only even been to one of these shows. Thank you so so so much. It’s awesome.
THIS IDIOTS AT UNI TO USE THE INTERNET, CAUSE HIS IS CAPPED AT HOME.
I just had an 11/10 sleep. It’s not going to get any better than this folks.
RVIVR is better than most things
I really wanted to go watch The Bennies show at The Cambo tonight. But I’m swapping it for writing music articles, Wrestlemania 17, the satisfaction of having a two week uni break, and an early nights sleep. Party.
do you think, if you devoted your entire life to it, that you’d have enough time to watch every youth pastor’s “sunday” parody of rebecca black’s friday
Sometimes in your complete flurry of getting through a day or event, you say something that makes you cringe at the thought of it.
I recently played a show where a guy from the ABC asked me to write a little blurb. Here it is in all it’s glory.
