Squid Lips was my first band. 2008-2009. I think I was in year 9 & 10. These guys are my three best friends, we played about 6 shows over 1 year, wrote about 3 songs and played a lot of covers. Before I started playing with this band, I had never played a show outside of school, I had never made a friend out of school either. Squid Lips was responsible for me getting over my fears of playing to people and making new friends.
